New member here. I've been a reader for a while and thought I'd now join in.
    I’m a JVM401HJS and 1936 owner.

I've been wondering what fx pedal is being used in the intro to Oasis' Columbia? It's like adelay/modulation/detune/feedback thingthat sounds like a whale sound

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like slide played through a delay and lots of reverb . And feedback
    More than 1 guitar involved.

Yep, shoegaze city, similar to Ride's "Leave Them All Behind". Two awesome songs

Cheers guys. I’ve seen sone live footage where he’s twiddling a knob on one of his fx pedals as a note is sustaining/feedbacking but not sure what
