I was looking for a more versatile reverb pedal to replace my Mr. Springgy. It is a nice sounding spring reverb pedal but a one trick pony.

Wow, the Hall of Fame 2 is really awesome. Haven't messed with the MASH function or tone prints yet, but the reverb varieties, tone and range of control is impressive for a pedal under $150.

Waiting to get the original Flashback delay pedal to replace my Carbon Copy. For the same reason, just looking for more versatility in my delay pedal. If the Flashback delivers like the Hall of Fame 2 does, it is going to be great!!

Update - well, the Flashback doesn't deliver like the Hall of Fame II. It is a very versatile pedal, but it definitely has a more digital sound and sterile feel to the delays when compared to the Carbon Copy. Even in analog mode, it just isn't as warm and natural sounding as the CC.

I think I am going to keep it though, to use once in awhile with the looper, and if I ever want to try to get that U2 delay thing going. But for now, it's not replacing the CC on my board.

Both of the original Hall of Fame and Flashback were much better than the new ones. I just had a new Flashback but sent it back. The first HOF was the best reverb pedal ever, that stupid mash pedal is a joke. Every time they stick computer based stuff in them they take a dive.

Don’t let it go, that was the best reverb pedal I ever used.
