Any one know how to wire the HT on Merren's 45? 5 lugs. Middle should be center tap. What are the voltages on the inner two and outer two?

So what historically should the cosmetics be?

Clapton/Block logo or is this to late with Drake and chassis mount repo selectors?

Option for Micas are RS Arched Logo 250p maybe a Arched Logo 560p or Red Lemco 500p. Piher or Iskra.

Chris doesn't ship his PT's with a wiring diagram? BTW, where did you get the turret board material?

I got a bunch of board material in trade. Its 95-97% accurate to the RS board Steve's UK sold years ago.

Script logo classic gold cap knobs with that OT and selector combo (late 65 to late 66)

I like 560pF mixer with the 270k resistors the 250pF perfect for TS. Consider 100pF on the pot (tubular)

This era is mixed Iskra/Pihers and the odd cc.

Hi thanks, I did figure it out.

So is this a "universal" power transformer aka also a 118?
Or did some of those old ones have extra high volt taps?

Sorry, can't answer your question as it's above my pay grade. I got hold of a Merren RS OT and contacted Chris to get a PT for the OT.
He sent me a PT but no wiring diagram, so I contacted him again and he sent that diagram to me. The writing on the PT label says
Gold Series PT-45. He also wanted pics of the OT to verify for himself that it was a real one. He said fakes had started to appear.
    He wanted mine.

Wow the end bell holes don't look like th Merrens Ive used in the past.
Theres a new member on Ampgarage selling lots of Merren outputs.. my initial thought was why take the chance at gtting a fake.

Did you send it back to Merren?

No, did not really want to let it go, but I eventually went with a real RS for my build. I have not seen another one of his RS OTs
for sale in the wild. My understanding is he does not make the RS OT anymore. Here is another pic of the OT.[IMG]

I consider myself lucky to have a real Merren RS in my stash, verified by the man himself.
That was a good week for me, also got hold of a 784-139.

No, it's a real Merren. When I contacted Merren to ask about a PT he asked which one of his OTs it was for and I said an RS one
I got from eBay. He said shoot me some pics so I can confirm you have one of mine. He confirmed, yes.

We have lost each other by my bad wording.
You have a Merren deluxe that is a clone of a RS Deluxe. But now you found a real RS deluxe for your build??

Yes, now I think I understand you. Yes, I have a Merren deluxe which is a clone of the RS Deluxe.
I thought you were thinking that my Merren deluxe was a fake and not a real Merren transformer.
I fully intended to use it for my build but, my builder said forget about using the Merren, and that my build
should use a real RS OT.
