This axe kicks ass. It is built to deliver. Thinking of swapping out the stock pu’s though, maybe some black winters. Any recommendations for thrash? I’m used to actives.

    Very nice, congrats!

PS. Do you like black guitars by any chance?

Bridge: Dimarzio X2N (Bridge for standard & Eb tuning), Dimarzio Super Distortion 3 for lower tuning.
Neck: Dimarzio Super Distortion 2 or PAF Pro...either pairs great with the above.

FYI, My soloist.. X2N Bridge, Super 2 Neck. Great sound.

    Speed metal/thrash junkie.

Nice, thx. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of black winters, but I'll check these out. However, the stock pu's are starting to grow on me.

    Mine is a 1996 model...came with some Kent Armstrongs...they were...ok at best.
I like the Dimarzio's for what I play.

The stock PUs EMG Passive worked pretty good for me...
