I played guitar in a loooong gone former life and decided a couple years ago to start up again. Build guitar, get amp, got a JamMan after a good friend said just do it, I'll do all the tracks you'll ever need, Danny Hein of the long gone "Fabulous Flippers" show band, and pray for the best. Guitars now done and I found a 5275 for like cheap, $80 after just a little begging, I'm old and poor and guy that had it was well off, (understatement). Amp is a fantastic blues box, with my SG look alike it can cry, or scream just what I wanted, the only issue is the on/off switch, seriously noisy, huge pop and scratch even with the volumes and every knob turned all the way down. Do I look for a shop that can do something with it? Can I do it myself? or is that normal given the age?
