Remember the mini Jube? Maybe this is the next release of 20 watt mini amp. I certainly don't want a DSL, theyre gonna have to do better than that. Mini JMP, JTM, JCM, JVM, like they did with the 1 watt series.

Interesting. Seems like they've corrected most complaints with the 15 series except there is no mention of the mode switches, so still, no lead 1/2 and no clean/crunch that's rather disappointing. Also, a 20 watt combo with a 10" speaker? Given the price point it's also made in Vietnam.

It's like Milton Keynes isn't listening at all.

Hmm. They've given it a HR suffix which I'd imagine denotes a head with built-in reverb yet it claims to have a 10 inch speaker? I won't be putting much weight on that listing I'm afraid. Maybe they are going to replace both 15s with new 20-watt versions with fx loops. I'll wait for something official from Marshall.

    Maybe I'm dumb..but how are 2 EL34s only putting out 20 watts, while 2 EL34s in a a 1987 or 1986 is more like 90 something..

In the mini Jubilee they do it by using a lower plate voltage.

The only real difference I see is emulated line out. I don't mind the idea of a 20 watter but maybe a head or head and combo with a 12" speaker...

So no presence knob, a deep button instead of a resonance knob and also no separate modes for the channels. This, and the 10" speaker, makes the DSL40C the much better bet, especially with the triode mode and the price 40Cs are being blown out for.

£499 here in the UK across several chains. Usual price was £650. This contributed to the rumours about discontinuation.

so is this proof the dsl 40c is going away, or is marshall just adding more amp choices here?

If they could take all the features of a JVM410 and make a 20 watt combo version it would be amazing.

But why, anyone? Why only here? Why has NO one else said anything about them? It's pretty apparent they exist, or will exist but Marshall is tight lipped and no other retailer seems to say a thing.
Still very odd....like that windowless van across the street....
