I did a couple of quick things with the Kemper. The first one is a simple little rock riff using a 1971 super lead 100 profile into a pre-rola greenback cabinet profile. I am using the 2014 LP custom with BKP nailbomb rolled down to 6. The second is using the TopJimi brown sound profile pack and the EVH striped series.

Please excuse any mistakes, these are tone demos, not skill demos, if you can play better than I can, cool.

    Lol!!!!
    Dude they sound killer!
I like both and i have always been a fan of the VH sound but that 71 superlead sounds badass. Is it from the exchange?

That's some killer tone. Does it sound that good in the room coming out of a real 4x12?

Holy shit the EVH tone is sick! When you played running the devil it sounded very accurate to the recording!

    Thank you, greatly appreciated.

I have you to thank for that one, I do believe those profiles found their way to
    Me from your direction.

I’ll have to look on the profiler tomorrow for that 71 profile. I can’t remember where I got it. It’s called “TH Marshall SL100 F” I can just send it to you as well. That was volume on 6, that profile is killer, 5-6 is classic rock all day, the volume full up is 80’s and it will clean up with the volume as well.

It’s actually better. When the volume comes up and it’s smackin the speaker cabinet it is glorious. Every bit of magic that the 2203 had. The VH profiles have an insane thump and depth to them when running into a cabinet, I’m telling you man, just get one.

I love those profiles. The runnin with the devil riff was the VH1 profile, the rest were on the 1984. That pack has a profile for each album in the DLR era. They all have slight differences to them. The 1984 profile is my favorite though. To mention, as they are ran here there are no additional effects or tweaks, that is how they sound when you plug straight in.

Thank you sir, the thing definitely lives up to the hype. I’ll see if I can get some metal and clean ones posted as well.

If you do some metal, can you do a variation like some old schools heavy metal, thrash metal, and possibly pantera? I would love to hear how the Kemper holds up to all of these

Oh, definitely. I’ve got a 2203kk which will do megadeth and slayer like nobodies business, a Randall warhead that does a damn good pantera, and plenty of Mesa stuff to get into heavier things. 5150’s also. I’ll get something together, hopefully I’ll be able to do that tomorrow. If not then I’ll get it ASAP.

Would love to hear a Black album profile. That tone is all studio magic so it's impossible to get using a single traditional tube guitar amp. Curious is the Kemper will nail it.

Take your time man. I will be waiting patiently for it. I am starting to save up soon for a kemper and I just want to see how well someone can cover different bands sounds' as that is pretty much what I am looking for. Also would you recommend a 2x12 with the kemper? I can't get a 4x12 so I'm thinking the 2x12 works fine?

I was going to mention - there's a pretty cool hot rodded JCM800 from March 1, that I've been playing w/. on the exchange...

I just so happen to have one of those. I’ll do one of that too.

    That’s your choice, I was running a 2x12
But I’ve got a 4 now I am so much happier. It just depends on your situation, whether you have space for a big cabinet, how much you’ll be moving it around, etc.

I’ll be looking into that, thank you.

By the way are these profiles stuff you got off the exchange or paid stuff? I would find it interesting how the free stuff compares to the paid stuff on the Kemper

Alrighty.. Here are a couple more.

First, random metal riffs. Using the Dean with EMG 81. Mesa MKV (free), Mesa triple crown (free), Mesa triple rectifier (free), JCM800 2203KK (free). Mistakes happened, it was improv.

Enter sandman. Using the Choptones Metallica pack(paid)
