    Hey all,

I am admittedly not a player. Just inherited an amp from my brother who was a huge RUSH fan and a pretty decent player.
I'm looking to recoup funeral costs and so selling his '68 JMP 50 Plexi, model 1987

    Still has original transformers

It has been modified as follows:
Single channel operation with the 2 channel volumes acting as pregain controls
addition of master volume knob in rear of cabinet.

I don't know what it is worth but have been advised it is quite rare. I can have the mods \undone\ to return it to original functionality

    Thanks

    Hello.

yea, I'd try to get it back to as original as possible. Hopefully, no holes were drilled in the chassis. My guess, it's worth between $2,000-4,000 site-unseen depending on condition

    Thanks for the response...
It has a tiny hole in the chassis to mount the additional master volume knob, I believe. Hole can be filled, yes?
It seems the location used to mount the component is a factory standard hole/screw. Thankfully the person who made the mids knew enough not to drill new holes.
The covering is split due to age but the structure is solid.
