So i am looking for a new guitar, i rented a Yamaha RGX a2, it's fine but i really dont like the feel of it.

i want a good guitar with EMG 81 and 60 for the heavy and a softer sound
but i am not going to pay more than 1000 dollars for it

Does any of you guys know the right guitar, i am open for pretty much anything!

    Thank you :)

Are you a Les Paul or a Strat type of guy?

i have only been playing for 5 month, so i havent had the chance yet to play either, which is stupid, since i properly should have, but i havent.

but i really like the sound of both. but the Les paul's design is deffently my favorite

Yeah - check out LTD EC-1000's, Epiphone Les Paul's or this budget PRS's.

I've been very pleased with mine

Pretty much anything ESP or Schecter will be awesome. Also heard good things about the Ibanez Iron Label series.

All but 1 of the ec-1000 lineup comes with the 81/60 combo too.

Where are you located? I'm selling an Ibanez ART700EQM with EMG 81/60's. I'll make you a deal for $350. It's mint.

Get the EC-1000T/CTM. Thank me later.

EDIT: Or Son's ART. Those are also supposed to be good. Come from Ibanez's Artcore factory, I believe, which is supposed to be better than their Indo stuff.

So i think i wanna try the EC 1000, but its nowhere to find in my country, and ofc im not gonna buy a guitar that i havent tried.

so my question is, is there a guitar that is similar to the EC-1000? just so i can get a feeling on how the EC is going the be, or is this a bad idea?

Don't overlook Jackson. Even the lower end stuff can be made to be badass.

I like ESP, but they seem too light for me.

the one i'm selling though an ltd is 9.6lbs. it's only a few ounces lighter than a "real" les paul that's not chambered or weight relieved.

here's the one i'm selling. has an 85 in the neck and an 81 bridge. it's a solid 9.6 pounds (from 03) feels and sounds like a real zakk wylde style les paul. not like the new ones. much more playable and "real" to me. not chambered, has locking tuners by Sperzel. ONLY issue other than a little dirt is that pea sized chip on the back body. otherwise it's a monster player.

i'm asking $450 which I feel is a killer price seeing as used they usually go for $550 form what I've seen anyway. I would need shipping though if not picked up as packing a guitar can be tricky.
