    All good. Just venting a bit of frustration on recent experience of cost v acctual quality these days.

    We don't know what the quality is because it's being hidden from us deliberately.

    All new signal caps are too bright.
    3 days ago I pulled out 8 x .022 & 400v mustard signal capacitors and 2 x .1uf & 400v and about 8 x 010 & 400v out of two pieces of equipment i bought from ebay. The equipment was built in 1963, all the capacitors bar 2 have decent lead lengths. I'll just use the shorter leads with tag boards.
    if you make Marshall amplifiers with any new signal caps, the amps to my ears sound too bright/ too much sizzle.
