Need Help With Mosfet

    Below is a picture of two mosfets from a Blackstar HT100. The “924” numbers are date codes and I found information on the number “SMK830”.

    The first link shows about 4 variations and the second shows information from Mouser.

    So my question is if any can let me know which one I should be ordering.

    These components are exclusively made in China.
    You will probably order it from Hong Kong.

    IRF830 should work fine. Double check the pinout out.

    To be sure, post a larger portion of the schemo.. I !think! these mosfets are used as source follower to drive the power tubes ...?

    That it does! It was purchased as a broken amp and that is what I found. Whoever worked on it took no pride in their work or did not know what the hell they were doing. They hammered the bias section of the board so I ordered a lot of stuff from Mouser to hopefully get the amp working.
