There is a fairly cheap battered Ibanez RG7421 in my LGS at the moment with an SD Nazgûl and Sentient set installed.
A cheap 7-string is something I have toyed with the idea of getting for a while.
So would this pickup set swing it for any of you out there.
    Are they any good?

I ain't got a clue, but here's a bump for your post.... I'd like to hear what people think about that too.

I've played a few seven strings, and have considered bringing one into the studio.

    I suck at playing a 6 string.

I am wondering if the Nazgul and Sentient are like or cloned after the black backs.

Seems to be yet another take on the general Super Distortion + PAF recipe

    It's gone!
    Still 7-string curious though.

    Nazgul.
Uber tight lows. HUGE mid spike between 1-2k. Clear highs.
Sounds like it might be a great pu for a basswood 7.

I tried the BK Aftermath in my Ibby basswood 7, and hated it.
All high end clanky spike. Ended up with a D-Activator 7 which is perfect.

Not much of a neck pickup guy when it comes to my 7.
