As long as it doesn't go all " splatty " on you it's a reasonable price/.

    I think it’s a good deal.
Yes they are clean, put your favorite boost pedal in front of it,
I use the footswitch and gain up
to 7-8 volume at 3-up any power mode and you will hear it start to open up, with the volume above 5 is where it gets nasty in a good way.
    Cheers Mitch

It's about 1/2 going rate in my area, so I would say yes! My preferred use of this amp is gain cranked without boost and master over 1/2 way, use guitar volume to control the mayhem. after 1/2 of master you start getting natural overdrive and compression and not much more actual volume. I get the same result with all three power levels, so for me this is just a gem of an amp. Hope you enjoy finding the sheer amount of flexibility this amp offers from a basic layout.

Hell yeah that’s a good deal...congrats! Crank it, it will get a bit dirty! Hit it with a pedal and look out! Great amps those Origins.

Congrats! The best tones are gain and volume at or above 7 in 20W mode. MiniMass it if you like your hearing.

A good trick for bedroom playing is to crank the master to around 8 and use the gain as a volume. Then use a pedal for some dirt. I find it sounds the best that way for home playing.
I tend to run my bass at noon and mids and treble at 2 or so to tame the brightness

    Sounds like a deal. Enjoy!

Unless I missed it. Combo or Head? I have the 20H.

The best thing to do is turn it up really loud.
It won't sound good until you turn it to at least "7."
I will advise you that it is in your best interest to do this immediately. :agreed:

The Origin 20 is one of the best amps I have played thru..so far..so far I like it better than my Bluesbreaker Combo...GREAT clean sound too!...I am using low power mode...because in the past I have blown many speakers....:jam:

I sold mine cheaper than that. Posted it here, CL, and Reverb. Heard crickets from the crowd and no offers. Great amp, but have my SV now and happy that someone else is happy.

Congrats! Try my favorite setting, put it in 1 watt mode, all knobs at 5, volume dimed and gain at 7. Thats an awesome edge of breakup tone! Throw an OD in front of that for some heavier crunch or gain. :yesway:

When you say 5 o’clock, do you mean straight up (on 5) or literally pointing at the lower right (where the 5 would be on a clock)? Because that would be all knobs dimed except for the gain. Just wanting clarity for my old brain! Thanks in advance.

My bad, 5, not oclock. Yeah straight up noon. Thanks for catching that :yesway:

Thanks! Yeah, those settings are pretty great. Using a 4x12 cab, I will drop bass a little and add midrange.
