I own a 1960 infinium & installed a PPIMV with a line out to drive FX's. here are some pics. I also use two modded plexi Marshall's and a 50 watt Origin as well as two Bugera 333xl's. I didn't care for the master they installed in the 1960 ( a type 3 from the train wreck pages ) is why I changed it. How do you feel the Bugera's compared to your Plexis, sound-wise?

It seem's to be a little bit different since the head room is so high but in a good way. They certainly FEEL like a plexi, feedback swell's into high harmonic's very naturally and cleans up nice when you roll off the volume. I've had mine for at least 4 years, same stock tube's in it just added the PPIMV and line out and run it side by side with the plexi's every day gig after gig.

Hell Amp and quite a few people could hear this message all day long and still dog them. Although in Amp’s defense, I do believe I have seen him say they do sound good but he thinks the parts used are very cheap and may not stand up so well.

A lot of folks are in that same camp but fail to see or will not acknowledge that even Marshall makes some of their products in Asia with probably the same parts that go into a Bugera.

I just recently bought a Origin 50H and it's made in Vietnam. It appears that all the modern amp's no matter where they are made share the same style design technique's and component's. Just look at circuit board pic's of the new SC20H, SV20H made in England vs any DSL, JVM, Origin or any Bugera, Blackstar EVH etc..

That’s quite a rig to see these days. What types of venues does your band play?

These are the 333XL's I have. I'm fast becoming a Bugera fan as well as a Marshall fan. IMG_20190830_163040 (480x640).jpg

Yeah the problem w/ bugera is the reliability and parts support.
So you need to be able to substitute parts if you know how. A knowledgeable amp technician will be able to substitute parts.
Because you need to face it: Bugera won't support you with parts in the field. (Music Group)
Peavey, Marshall, Fender, Yamaha, Ampeg, GK,etc... WILL support you.

    Bugera does sound really good.
If Bugera changed it's parts / customer service policies, they could put Mesa Boogie out of business.

Yes it is a copy of a Mesa made in China.
Just as Behringer is a copy of Peavey designs...all these designs are copied from US manufacturers.

    Sounds great!

I’m glad I’m not the only 333XL fan. It can cover a pretty wide range of tones. Great sounding amp.
