I tried this over on the Triumph forum, and all I got was generic advice.

I am looking for a place to get a custom clutch cable made. I am perfectly aware of Motionpro and Barnett.

What I would like is a recommendation from someone who has actually had a custom cable made.

    Anybody?

I just need one cable, and I want it made by someone who knows what he is doing.

But I appreciate your suggestion. Much more thoughtful than the guy on the bike forum who suggested that I could "google" cable makers. Duh!

We have a couple custom bike builders here in Defiance, Jamie Price of Dead End Cycles and Jim Hill of Hills Perfomance, they build custom choppers...if your interested I can get their numbers or check out their websites, you could call and pick there brains. They're both dedicated to the bike culture and would treat you like family.

Have you had cables made by either of them? I wouldn't mind having links to their web sites if possible.

Jim Hill is the man you want to talk to he's had numreous articles in: issues of American Chopper™, V-Twin™, Biker™, Easyrider™, Barnett's™ - check out some of his builds on the Web, sorry I haven't had any cables done but have serviced multiple bikes at both places. Both know how to custom build from the ground up, although Jims been at it a lot longer.
