Hey guys. My band just finished our first album. The thing is self produced and all but three of the tracks were recorded in a basement studio by our bassist, who is an amateur sound engineer.

Before I give it a listen just wondering are you ( the band) enlisting the services of CD Baby to get your music out there ?

That's a good effort. Some nice English punk vibe going on.
You're going to need a producer and a good sound engineer though to move forward.
Original songs are good imo. Keep creating.
Unsolicited Advice: Put out a kick ass single and get it playing on all the usual streaming services.
I second mcblink. Thanks for sharing with us.
    Please continue to do so.

We are using RouteNote as our distributor and I think we are just having CD Baby actually print the jackets and discs for us. We have a new single that we recorded, and that we all think is our best sound yet, but we haven't published it yet. We are debuting it live at a show on March 23.

You guys really are a really tight group, I pick up a late 60’s vibe, and you guys are a JAM band, love it brother, keep posting your work.
And as my brother, BP said original music is the shat we like to hear.
    Cheers
    Mitch

Thanks! We try to aim for a 60's to early 80's vibe with most of our stuff. Our first bassist was a big Ramones fan, so you can hear that in some of the tracks from that. Our current bassist is a big 80's British Heavy Metal fan, our drummer really loves prog rock, and my influences are stuff like Cream, Zep, Allman Bros, etc. So they kind of meld together! And yep we are a 3 piece and try to take advantage of the improvisational opportunities that affords!

You guys are doing a fine job of it.
I do enjoy the music, and the way the songs build.
    Thanks
