    :funny:

    I did another strange gig................

I did a cocktail hour for a wedding reception in a Hasidic Hall for a Spanish wedding.

I asked if playing "LaBamba" would be offensive.

They said it would be disrespectful.

I asked if I could play "Desperado" by The Eagles.

They said, "who are The Eagles?"

So, I played Desperado and Hotel California.

I played the hour and got $200.00.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    It was a hilarious gig.

The girl that got me the gig was sitting with the only English speaking group in the hall.

She told me that she enjoyed The Eagles songs even though the rest of the audience didn't have a clue.

I don't have pictures but some of the guests wore gowns and some had ripped jeans and sneakers.

The people with street clothes were also drinking beer from a can and casually smoking pot.

It was a very mixed bag.
