    Not a great condition.
JCM2000 TSL -- out of order -- needs to go to shop.
1984 JCM800 -- hums very loud -- needs to go to shop.

Having to use my Fender. Short on cash for the repairs. Pretty good at working on amps myself -- not great -- not that advanced. Not tubes.

NOT good. The JCM 2000 -- not the most reliable. Upon opening it up, it appears to be too complicated for its own good. Boards close to heat sources. May not be worth repair. It may have design issues......not sure what to do.

The JCM800 -- very simple amp -- used MANY times. Needs a good going over. Preobably worth the effort and money.

OK I'll pay $100 for both of them. I might even pay shipping.

Wow. Instead of showing support or trying to help the fellow member out we will take advantage of him and try and lowball him out of his amps. Thats just downright rude.

Do you want me to help fix your amps? Cause I was joking about the $100.
I would give you at least $150.

TSL - probably a blown HT fuse due to bias drift

800 - probably needs a cleaning or a new preamp tube

That TSL is a highly underrated amp, mostly due to design issues..or rather, proper execution of the design...

I'd say they're both worth having fixed, and at the very least, the TSL's headshell would make for a bitchin' mailbox. Though if it's in proper working order, I'm sure you'd love it.

The 800, by comparison, is a relatively simple amp, and absolutely worth having a tune up. Why not tag team the both of them? Both, in working order, should be worth whatever it takes. Otherwise they're just elegant boat anchors.

What, exactly, are you looking for? Your original post just states what you have, that it doesn't work properly, that you don't have funds, and you have a desire to, maybe, do the work yourself.
There are many people here that are willing to assist, some are even knowledgeable enough to do so. My opinion, you should start with the JCM800 due to its simplicity (when compared to the TSL).
    Some tips:
What model is it? (JCM 800 is a cosmetic styling that came about after the contract with Rose Morris expired, not a model.)
Give detailed info of the symptoms, and any circumstances surrounding the appearance of the failure/issue.
Also, give any info for attempts to rectify the issue.
Above all, be patient with and responsive to those trying to help out, and ask questions if you don't understand something.

Ampmadscientist in a deep place of you heart you want a TSL100. You can confes It. You are very good amp technician. You know how fix It and you know how set up. Maybe this TSL just has a bad power tube and blow ht fuse.

    I don't want a TSL, I want a Bogner.:lol::lol::lol: And a 59 LP tobacco burst standard.
    Can't you understand "essentials?"
At least he didn't install the 20 amp fuse (yet).
