I've been trying to find one of those too. The item you are referring to is the 'Satin Tour Jacket'. There was also a 'Baseball Jacket' but it looked quite different from the one you mention. I think they stopped making them in the late 1990s as they are listed in the price lists I have from then. The October 2000 price list I have lists clothing but doesn't mention any jackets. The amount of merchandising you could get in the 80s and 90s is astounding making todays offerings look a bit half-assed!

Hey guys, I know this post is old, but are any of you still looking for a Marshall jacket? I have a black satin jacket from the late 70's or early 80's, and it has the "Marshall" cursive logo stitched in white on the front and back. Size XL. The tag on the neck states "Marshall Original".

It's not in the best shape, but it's definitely 100% vintage! I've had it for years, and haven't worn it in years. Let me know!

The jacket looks great. I have a hat and a T shirt. I had almost forgot about the shirt, I'll have to dig it out.

I got one of those bad boys. Twern't easy either, as far as I can tell, there are less than 20 of them in North America. Supposedly they were handed out to hi-volume number dealers at the NAMM convention in Vegas during the 90's. But one season they were available for retail purchase in England. The traditional sports-type satin jacket is more of a Yank thing and not so popular in Brittan...or so In told. So they pop up on eBay occasionally.

I saw one or two on eBay, but just missed-out on the auctions, then finally won one back in '06. It cost me 26GPB (which was about $37USD at the time) including international shipping! A REALLY good deal! It arrived "Royal mail" via USPS. I got it in FOUR DAYS from some town in the northern UK, trans-Atlantic shipping, thru customs, to my home in NJ. I was amazed, since I had bought stuff off eBay from only a couple hundred miles away and it took two weeks.

It was a 2XL, but no problem, I took it to a tailor and had it taken-in. Everyone loves it, and it was almost stolen twice!
