Also using a Marshall power brake. I believe this compilation is all Marshall except for the short little snippet from The Rain Song which is a Mesa Boogie......Guitar Solos from:

Good Times Bad Times (Gibbons Pearly Gates on lead, Jimmy Page #2 aged on rhythm)
Whole Lotta Love (Jimmy Page #1 aged LP)
Communication Breakdown (Jimmy Page #1 aged)
Heartbreaker (both solos) (Jimmy Page #1 aged first solo, Jimmy Page #1 CA second solo)
Moby Dick (different Jimmy Page #1 aged)
Since I've Been Loving You (Jimmy Page #1 aged)
Black Dog (Jimmy Page #1 aged)
Stairway To Heaven (Jimmy Page #1 aged, single coil setting)
The Rain Song (2009 R9 VOS and Guild F50 Jumbo)
Over The Hills And Far Away (Jimmy Page #1 aged)
The Ocean (Jimmy Page #1 aged)
The Rover (Jimmy Page #1 aged)
Nobody's Fault But Mine (Jimmy Page #1 aged on lead and Gibbons Pearly Gates on rhythm)
Rock and Roll (Jimmy Page #1 aged)
Immigrant Song (live BBC version) (Jimmy Page #1 aged)
Boogie Mama / Shake For Elvis from WLL in TSRTS (Jimmy Page #1 aged)

That's was great! I love your tone, it sounded just like Page's. I could listen to Zep solos all day. How about Achilles Last Stand? That's another great solo.

Page and Marshalls are a magic mix live, which is ironic considering how little he used them in the studio!

I do my Zep on the red channel on the DSL (gain about 4-5) not to imitate Page tones as much as make the studio versions more of an adreneline rush live. Backing off the volume on the LP cleans it up to an amazing degree for the quieter parts, like the beginning of Since I've Been Loving You, or the quiet part of The Lemon Song.

Lots of people would use the green channel for Zeppelin as it's more "authentic" but I prefer my way.

That is one I never learned. The only one from that CD that I know is Nobody's Fault But Mine. I have "Tea For One" on my list of things to learn.....

Actually, I am on the MLP forum, the LPF, The Gear Page, Gibson's forum, vanderbilly, guitars101, this one, and 2 or 3 others that I can not think of. But I usually only go on MLP and LPF on a daily basis.

Wait a minute there my crunchy Br00tal Brother - I posted and I don't have a 900! (would love to get one, but money matters and such, that may be a while).

I'm a "I'll take one of each" attitude kind of guy as far as Marshalls go.

You'll see mate from my sig, ive a 4102 & a lp trad. Im interested in how youve set all this up. What powerbrake, which channel (both?), what cones your rocking in the cab, eq's?. Its sounding good man, i can still hear the woody open sound you get from it in open back, i find as soon as you go closed cab, it get so much more punchier. P
