Sweet mother of Jesus and of all things righteous and good!

I blew hot sperm all over my computer listening to that. Awesome awesome tone. I am starting to believe that the JVM is the best Marshall ever. That white one was pretty good too.

    Christ almighty...

You are not alone lol...same here, had to google "Kerrang" tone definition too! Found a 10 page long debate on tgp and even then there was still no definitive answer, the tone samples were all over the friggin' place, from upper mid, 80's hair metal to barely any gain Pete Townsend...I gave up...all I know is this thread is LOADED with a wide range of ideas as well but they're all damn GREAT examples of killer tone regardless of the definition!

Nice tone bro, sounds like there are quite a few of us in the same tonal spectrum, nice chops as well!
    Cheers Mitch

I am digging all the clips everybody posted. I am even thinking my JVM is treating me right for sure, very satisfied with that amp to say the least. My PlexiRod project is still a work in progress. Not sure where I am going to go with it. The saturation is not bad but still not refined with the clarity in the low mids I am wanting.

But at this point, I have to give the best tones to @zachman with his Cameron Atomica and then a clip I heard in another thread that I have to give props to as it just sounds awesome - that is @Eddylenz and his #34 amp.

I tried messing with some Atomica circuits I seen, but they did not come close to Zachs tone. Both of these guys are great players too.

Keep the clips coming M F'ers! Even though I am not sure what the Kerrang is . . . I was just thinking it was that roar and bloom when you hit a big power chord or low E chord.

    :D

Wow, MOST kind of you. I sincerely appreciate the sentiment. My amp is actually the NAMM prototype, and is imo-- the BEST sounding Marshall that Marshall NEVER made. ;) I LOVE this amp.

Plugged straight in, NO fx. Playing sucks in this one, but the tone is there.

Amp had both channels jumpered and all knobs pretty much on ten, except maybe bass and presence.

I'm gonna see how loud I can crank up the 900 tomorrow once wifey goes to work. That should be some good kerrang.

You MF'ers rock, seriously, your here, and your doing it. It's fun, we love it, and you my Brothers already have the most important ingredient for the kerrang! I know you have it or you wouldn't be on here.

    Attitude:hbang:

Oh yeah, and (at 1:24) a night vision scope... this is something you might want to have handy.;)
