That’s your modded 900 right? Pulled some of the diodes out?
Well done @netlocal! Sounds great!
Yes, that is one of the modded 900's. It didn't sound like that stock. It really is wonderful to listen to now.
Sounds awesome. Btw, for full disclosure, I had to look up what kerrang meant lol
a band I was in, in the '80s had an article/review in there, back then. We also had one in Metal Hammer, & Burrn!
I wish I had them all any of them, but, we were dealing w/ management & getting a record deal & the guy wanted all promo material to use for our publicity material & then things blew up & I ended up w/o anything...
I did find a copy of the Metal Hammer article online, but, it's still not the same. The article doesn't have out picture & it's not in print, & it's in German. Of course I can (& did) translate it, but, it's still not the same. The magazine was German too, but I had someone translate it for me.
That was fun back then, finding people to translate stuff, like the Japanese magazine for you. There was no internet, nor internet type tools...
So, kerrang? How’s this?? Hear that mid growl? Tung sol, baby!
Goddamn! Sounded GREAT!!!!
Thanks... I LOVE this amp!
My attempt at VH1 tone at 1:45.
Cool thread here Cadorman !!
Man it's great to hear all you guys play....
Lots of beautiful sounds and some great chops
I need to get off my lazy sub-woofer and make some clips too
Me too! I just never think to record stuff nor do I typically have the time.
I was going to lay down a track or 2, but my strings are at the end of their lives, on my main guitar. (on all my guitars really) So much so that they have intonation issues up/down the neck. I'd be embarrassed, because being in tune, it'll sound like I screwing up certain chords. I'm not quite ready to give up the ghost on the strings yet though. Maybe this week, or next...
Just set the phone somewhere and push record the next time you are freelance noodling!
I am looking forward to hearing your stuff bro, I have yet to hear anything embarrassing yet!
I record a lot but I'm in the dark ages, no 'puters in my studio!
I should do as Mitch says and prop my phone up somewhere next time I play
