    Hi guys!

I'm new around these parts but recently picked up a couple of Kitchen Marshall cabs which I know nothing about; anyone have any knowledge on the history of these things?

They're both 2x 8" cabs, with Kitchen-Marshall badges on the front and 'Made in England Serial no. 54XXX' on the back. I've opened them up and they have 'R.S.Kitchen' stickers on a few of the speakers, but one of the speakers is different, labeled Goodmans of England - guess the original blew at some point!

If I can figure how to upload pictures I'll share them, but would be grateful of any info! Cheers!

Edit - I've put a picture of the cabs in my avatar if that helps

Reduce the size of JPEG photos with microsoft paint or other photo editor. To about 25-30% of original usually.
Using MS paint -Save the file as PNG or GIF format.
Posting JPEG or PDF etc probably won't work because of the large file size.

Upload the photo and click the cursor into the text where you want the picture to appear.
Then click "full sized." and save.

Welcome to the forum . We are looking forward to seeing pics of these Kitchen Cabs.
Actually I think those are PA cabinets...

    Thanks for the tips guys!

Yes, I think they're PA cabs (hope that's ok on this forum!?), they don't have a jack input on the back which is odd, so wondered if they were meant to be installed rather than travel with bands?

Thanks for the link Zoidberg! They're the same as the Model #2008, although I've got different speakers installed and - as mentioned - they don't have the jack sockets, and aren't in the amazing condition of those... they're not bad though!

Thanks again for the welcome, I'll work on reducing these pics!

    Here you go!

Would love to know if the speakers are considered any good, and if any of them (perhaps the three matching ones) are original!? And if anyone recognises the signature/scribble?? And... Value???

PS - feel free to make jokes about kitchen cabinets!

Whataya gonna do with them? Did you measure how many ohms they are, maybe you could set them up with an amp for a stereo system.
