Holly crap, he bought greenie. Is that Greenie? Sure looks like it. Damn, sounds like it too!
Ok fill me in, what is greenie?
Isn't that a Norlin with minihums? Or nope no it isnt
Sorta looks like a worn goldtop not a yellow flame though
its greenie! and its good to know she's back in the ring and not being displayed like a caged animal in some hard rock caffe' somewhere.
...it's a damned good replica.
Check out 11:40 for Kirk's guitars.. Randy Rhoads Flying V in there too..
The TV show also
It looks like a Greenie but it might be a re-issue.
One of the most sought after guitars , I stand corrected. He payed 2 million, Peter Green and Gary Moore owned it . 1959 Les Paul , not Norlin for the clown.
The Rhoads V, he said is an '84. So, it wasn't a "Rhoads" V, but a Jackson RR V... Randy died in '82...
Randy had a prototype that was designed before he died . I would guess the family signed off on making them or he already had. There are pictures of Randy with a RR1 even though he passed be for production or around the same time.
The trifecta RR1 , The Concord and white les Paul.
yeah, I understand that. I'm just noting that it wasn't one of Randy's actual guitars, like Greenie was Gary's actual guitar...
And we are talking about Kirk ‘s knowledge ? Lol They both played “vee’s” because of MS .
That has to be "Greenie", I have never heard Kirk sound so good.
True , it’s also funny hearing him talk about the guitar. It is like his “pick of destiny”. lol
Wow - I really enjoyed that. Hope he's got his straplocks nice and tight.
The neck has been repaired before . Of course I would not want to loose that guitar . I hope he insured it.
A '59 filling the air with it's songs, not locked away
