Shipping from East Coast, never have shipped a guitar this expensive.

Hope FedEx does their job. Fully insured so ...

This guitar may be too much for you to handle. I suggest you ship it to me immediately to have it inspected and broken in through my Marshall.

Congrats!!! Looks good and hope it plays well!

Its got a Long Neck Tenon which ive never seen on anything but Orvilles & Custom Shop LP's. Except for Original 50's/60's LP's.

Its got Grover Tuners, AAAA Top, super dark Rosewood {seller sez Ebony but looks RW to me} and Seymour Duncan pups. Don't know which ones yet.

And it was better & cheaper than several others i was looking at.

Looks really pretty, Dan. I agree, the fretboard is rosewood. Congratulations.

I would not worry about the mail issue.

Nice guitar. I also have a 2013 Standard same color but not a plus. Mine has the Burstbucker pro and lead. It’s a fun guitar to play. Your guitar’s Top is gorgeous. Congrats.

Congrats! Beautiful guitar. I have a 2013 Standard and a 2013 R9, both of which are great guitars. I had to swap out the Burstbucker Pro bridge pickup, because of uncontrollable squeal on my JVM. I replaced it with Bareknuckle Nailbomb, and it sounds pretty awesome.

Did your 2013 Standard have the PCB push/pull pots ?

Yes. The two volume knobs split the coils; the neck tone knob was a phase shifter and the bridge tone know by passed everything and sent the signal directly to the bridge pickup. My R9 obviously has the traditional pots without the PCB wiring.

How hard was it to rewire the Bare Knuckle pups to the funky PCB pots ?

Real easy. You can buy the wiring from this person on eBay. You just tell him which pickup you would like to connect to the PCB unit, and he will prewire the plug, so all you have to do is solder on the new pickup to the wires connected to the plug. It works great.
