What a dog eat dog biz. I never liked Steve Taylor . If these guys where a starving garage band would you think the drummer would be kicked out.

Drums sounded fine last time I saw them at Cobo Hall in Motor City 1977.

Wrong, but then again you listen to Roxette.

    1973 Aerosmith
    1974 Get Your Wings
    1975 Toys In The Attic.
    1976 Rocks
    1977 Draw The Line

SP means "Steven Toyler" of Ayrosmhidt, yea I just read a report on how the band had him audition for his job...after 50 years of service? :wtf:

73 to 77 def the golden era. I didn’t buy another one of their records till Done With Mirrors. In the 2010’s I picked up Night In The Ruts and Rock In A Hard Place. Nowadays I think those records are just as great, but I didn’t follow them during that era.
Maybe because they were starting to utilize outsiders more and more and I was already too much a fan of B.W. & J.P. Nothin against Supa (I LOVE ‘Chip Away’), Crespo or Dufay. That had to be a tough gig for those guys in a Tommy Bolin sort of way.

    Aerosmith without J.K.? :nono:
    Not for me.

Steve Gorman in his book Hard To Handle described Joey Kramer as “...just kinda wierd”. Yeah, agreed, there must be more to this story.

I hate to even add to this, but I do not understand WHY Aerosmith is at every awards show, why they are even written about in the music or mainstream press, why Joe Perry ends up on stage at every honorific type ceremony (seriously, wtf?). WHY is Joe Perry on stage with Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page??? What possible connection is there, other than they arguably do the same thing for a living??? It was like seeing Miley Cyrus on stage with Paul McCartney on SNL.

They were, and let me repeat that WERE, one of THE most average bands in the history of recorded music, and I can't even fathom what they are now, 40 years after they got clean in Narcotics Anonymous and made a "comeback". Dude LOoks Like a LAdy? LOve in AN Elevator??? It's the most moronic shit I've ever had the displeasure of getting ear-porked by every time I make the mistake of listening to commercial radio by accident when I get into someone's car or go to a supposedly "cool" doctor's office.
Worse than Billy Joel, worse than George Thorogood, worse than The Eagles.

The only good thing that ever came out of that band was Liv Tyler. She's half decent.

I only said she was half decent.
I only said half decent. But it's her acting skills that really stand out. She should totally be representing the industry at every awards show.

She's interesting looking, not a "classic" beauty but certainly no bowser either.

Hmm, not sure but that kinda sounds right...it's an older term, I just remember that when I was a kid we'd always refer the ugly girls as "bowsers" lol.
