I was curious if anyone knew somewhere that could make a JMP style Head shell for a DSL 100H. In fact, the front panel would be all I would need honestly. I searched and found only one, and it turned out to be wrong and the builder was flakey. I just think that would look really good ,and match my JMP 2203. I realize it is kind of silly, but I don't think that it would be to hard of a job. I am positive that it would look nicer. IMO

    +1 for Sourmash.
I had them make a couple of cabinets for me to my specs and they turned out great. And they were reasonably priced as well.

You wont be able to fit a DSL100H into a JMP headshell unless you swap out the chassis too.

I think the operative term is JMP "style"...

Marshallmellowed had a JMP style box made for his JMD:1 & it looks sweet!

I was going to suggest Sourmash as well, but, if the OP lived in another country, it would have been cheaper to recommend someone local...

    Here's Marshallmellowed's example:

Wow I didn't think there was enough room on the ends of the face plate to actually do it, looks good!

The bottom pic exhibits an estimation and is not real.:ugh: Look closely. Clearly Photoshopped...clever though..indeed.

DOD...look closely at the front panel..inside the new cabinet. Why is it's details all out of focus compared to everything else at the same focal plane? Even details as small as the numbers on the dials themselves? Notice how the LEDS show no color as they do in the image above? From what I see is that the JMD's front panel was clearly cut from a different image, and just positioned in the cutout of the new headshell. Look at the perimeter of the JMD's front panel as well..doesn't it appear visually abrupt to you?

I could be wrong, but it sure looks fake to me!

Well, I guess it's better to have the real deal to look at, instead of the mockup!

I added another picture from his thread...

yep... Mine got a couple simple changes too & it looks great. Changed the piping from black to white & added a red on/off switch... also, the front grillcloth was changed to tolex... The original owner did all the work...

I like the plexi look of Marshallmellowed's though. I'm going to do that w/ my JVM1 eventually...
