Has anyone tried both of these tubes? I am trying to make a decision between the two and would value your feedback.

    Thanks!

JJs have been running fine for me in my own amp and it's gotten quite a bit of abuse during testing.
    Never tried =C= s.

Let me know how that goes for you. I know the JJ 6L6GC's are excellent. I just picked up a set of =C= 6L6GC's and one tube idles at 20mA while the other one is at 40mA.

The last set of =C= EL34's I got were mismatched about 6mA. The JJ's always seem to be quite close though.

Hmm... where did you order them from? I just got a pair of tubes that are 6mA apart. Perhaps a certain vendor is having issues with their tester?

I am dieing to know as well.

I own the JJ 6L6GC, they are well made and only a couple of MA off each other, but I am not all that thrilled with them tone wise. A bit flat in my opinion. I have never used the =C=.....

Hope someone who has A/B experience posts up in here.

Just a question, but when =C= tubes have issues everyone starts blaming everyone except =C=! Is there some unspoken rule that =C= is known to make perfect tubes and never to be questioned?

I have used both the JJ 6L6's & the 6V6's with great results. I have never used =C= 6L6's so I wouldn't know about them.

I'm not talking about winged c, I am talking about getting a 'pair' from a vendor that is not well matched. Has to do with the equipment they use to match the tubes, not the manufacturer of them.
