Boys are easy, you tell them to do something they don't like and they'll grunt and do it. Where girls are much smarter, they call me out on things. Sometimes they gang up with my wife and verbally tag team me with arguments until I retreat into the man cave. I think they are getting prepared for marriage, God help their future husbands.

I wouldn't trade them in for anything though,,,,

    Peace

my boys were way easier. There wasn't a huge difference, but with the exception of my oldest daughter, the girls were a little more maintenance, wanting to do more extra-curricular activities. The boys were more expensive though. Their likes and desires usually come with a higher price tag.

Congratulations CrossRoads, should have some fun times ahead. Along with the pink strat, let her get up to speed with your gear.

We have a grand daughter that is everything to us loves music and a good tech. Caught her making some interesting adjustments on my board. ;)

Congrats! Fatherhood is the greatest life gift - 'course you gotta grow up a little! My boy's 18 and at university - miss him! Take a few pics every now and then but don't live behind the camera. I teased mine about grand kids - no rush I told him but I do miss the legos and Thomas the Tank engine stuff.

Just remember NO is a complete sentence and BECAUSE trumps WHY? every time!

What you and @Geeze just said ring true already. My Mom told me a story this morning (which she's told me before) about how there was a time when my sister was young (she was like 5 or so) and was doing something she wasn't suppose to be doing … my Mom told her "No", but my sister kept doing it … so my Mom finally asked "what part of NO don't you understand?" … my sister replied "O, for options". It's probably the best response she's ever had to a question

    Congrat's Cross!

Getting a guitar to memorialize 2018 is great. Since, the greatest thing that will happen in 2018 is going to be the addition of Hannah Li Weber to your life, it makes perfect sense to make the tribute special in combining the two.

Awesome! Congratulations dude. I'm really excited for you. I've got a boy and girl but the girl is only 4 months old so I don't have much advice to give on the differences, yet. The boy is 2 and just wants to destroy everything he touches. It's like having a 3' Genghis Khan roaming around the house. If you're a neat freak like me you're about to be in for a major "attitude adjustment".... just learn to accept food stains and crumbs everywhere, there's no point in fighting it :)

And film everything. Even if you dont think it’s film worthy, film it anyway. Watching videos of your kids when they were little is the best.

Daddy Cross Congrats! Definitely film and photograph everything. The films are a riot to watch and I have a PC screen in the family room with a screensaver that cycles through the pictures 24/7.

I just allowed the first bottle of soda / juice in the car here in the last week … I've never allowed anything in a vehicle other than a bottle of water (and NO FOOD!). I'm realizing this is going to have to change pretty quickly / dramatically, so I'm trying to ease myself into the 'attitude adjustment'. You could say I'm a bit of a neat freak
