Congrats Cross, it's a hell of a ride that I wouldn't trade for the world.

Congratulations! We always wanted a daughter, but we were blessed with two boys only. We thought about trying for a third, but a friend with two sons told me he also tried to go one more time in the hopes of having a daughter. They wound up having twin boys.

What a terrific idea! She's already on board w/me picking up a new guitar here in celebration of 2018, so you've given me something to really think about. It's been a long time since I've had a wild colored / neon colored guitar, and while it's crossed my mind from time to time, it just seemed a bit dated to the 80's, but now I have a pretty good excuse to pull the trigger! I'm still leaning toward a new Wolfgang, but this is a really strong idea / consideration to make! Damn, I want a neon-pink Wolfgang so bad right now

like the right tattoo: something personal and has some real meaning behind it. I say what better excuse could you need for that? Pull the trigger.

So, you guys with both boys & girls, which is the easiest to raise? Is there a big difference? Are there any separate challenges with either?

Since it's raining here today and we're both exhausted from being in the car the last 3 days, we've opted to stay inside for the day and rest up a bit (which is probably a good idea so that her fist introduction to Miami isn't in the rain) … I plan on starting the hunt online as soon as lunch arrives :yesway:

Yeah, we already have a name picked out:

    Hannah Li Weber

My wife is Chinese, so since she will be mixed race, we thought it might be nice to give her a Chinese middle name (Li is pronounced as Lee). To make it even more personal, Li happens to be my mother in law's name, so it's a good way to pay respect to her family as well.

My middle daughter is hannah. I prefer it without the second H but my wife liked it with.

The difference between raising a boy vs a girl is with a boy, you only have to worry about one penis. With girls, you have to worry about all of them.
