You need to get the anti pop up software add on.
Usually this type software can be downloaded at the manufactures (or oper sys) website.

If you are on the internet, you are using a browser.
This may be the default browser which Android contains.

    Delete all cookies.
Open the cookies file and delete cookies manually if necessary.
Set the browser to delete cookies every time you close the browser.
Cookies are part of what makes you a target for the ads.

When e mail notifications arrive, do not click on the link in the e mail.
Instead go to the forum and open your notifications.
When pictures arrive, do not open unless from a known source.

Delete as many e mails as possible. Keep spam e mails deleted.

Personally, I love ads and commercials. The more the better. Regular television programming miffs me because the shows interfere with the ads. It's like I spend more time having to watch TV shows which get in the way of the whole point of owning a TV, which is THE ADS! Lookit - I'm a consumer, see? And consumers need to consume products as much as possible. That being the case, there's just no time for regularly scheduled TV programming. GIVE US MORE ADS!!!

If you've been paying attention, you'd be aware of my sincere disdain for television and radio for no other reason than its promotion of consumerism. Moreover, that my previous post was about as ironic and satirical as it gets, ever.

go with apple. they are not perfect but at least i don’t get popups.

vinsanitizer might have a thing. ads provide a unique, penetrating representation of the culture from which they come from. you can learn alot from them.

we've had people complain on their iPhone/Pad, that they've gotten them, in the past.

I've never gotten any, even on my phone/pad. I run ad suppressors on my PC & nothing on my Apple stuff. I get ads, on Apple, but nothing malicious jumps out at me...
