That's probably the number 1 reason I will avoid this guitar .. ;)

No you most certainly do not have to, but every body and their brother will ask you to jam some VH. Cheers

I don’t know any James Taylor, so we must let the ass kickings commence.

I would think that goes without saying for any signature piece of gear.

We already play through Marshall's that deserve better talent, so I say NO.
I want the black and yellow one.

I had 2 Peavey EVH guitars

    They had those tuna trems.

    I hated those trems.

For some reason, I really liked the neck p/u on those.

And, no, I can't play like EVH.

    Never tried to.

    EVH is a master.

    I'm a hack.

BTW, I sold both of those Peavey's years ago.

My formative years were spent trying to avoid hammering until that Lannerback fella from Sweden mixed it into his sweep picking.

FWIW if your neck is scalloped and you still can’t play “Far Beyond The Sun” correctly, that’s perfectly good too.

BUT if you: play a polka dot V, and can’t play the entire lead break from “Flying High Again” but your 9-year-old neighbor from across the street can? Give it to him bc that things only serving as wall art to you.

If you got any kind of EVH guitar and can’t do Eruption, why not?

That’s like when we were kids and I come over to play after school, and you got a Batmobile - but your two thoughtless drunks for parents thoughtlessly forgot the action figures.

Don’t force the will of my steel-toed boot: you play EVH on your EVH guitar you do it now or else consequences!

What about the Wolfgang Special?(specially the Stealth Black one),suppose you where really old & had no idea what Mr Van Halen was even playing, never mind being able to play it,would it be permissible to own one of those, just because you knew no better,or would you(I) look even more like a dick ?.:fingersx:

Are you required to sing Fire n Rain like DLR 1977 ?
OR was that James Taylor from Kool & The Gang ?

:),if this is meant for me,happily or sadly depending on your point of view,i can't sing & I don't play JT stuff,i've also never owned an acoustic ;).
The timeing of things is sometimes strange, normally I wouldn't have give this thread even a glance, but by coincidence,i happened on a y/t vid of Van Halen(from 2015) a couple of weeks ago & thought the Black Wolfgang looked the dogs,I know that was a USA custom & not a Mexican Special, but with my playing ability it would make on difference.:eddie:
