I need to know the value of capacitor at C16. Was doing some mods and can’t find the capacitor I removed unintentionally.
    There aren’t any schematics available
    DSL 15h.
    1) Unusable distortion was far more distorted than my dsl 50 on ultra gain
it sounded more badly distorted than any amp I’ve owned and i had a 6505+ now that’s good distortion albeit a little much for my liking now.
    2. Basically an unusable channel has turned me into a diy electronics guy

    It's 4u7 63 volt on the schematic I have.

The easy fix for taming the red channel is JJECC823 in v1.

I found the capacitor but I couldn’t read the value, so I put in a 1uf 50v and it sounds pretty good. My red channel is awesome now. I saw 4u7 63v on the 40 watt schematic! I might bump it up to that(4u7 50 watt) just to see if the sound improves

    Thanks for info guys,

I’m currently working on my 97 dsl 50. No clean channel since I pushed the button on my
Effects loop. Which didn’t work (loop) so I don’t know why I did that. It has a 100 w pcb with 4 power tube slots and one of the traces on the unused tube spot blew out/up. Not sure if that could even affect my clean channel and reverb. That loop switch had a loose solder joint, so I resoldered it and repaired broken trace. Everything else looks visually fine.
If anyone has any input on this subject I would strongly appreciate it.
