If I were you I would try French Tickler 4.0
I've used Norton, MacAffee, MS - all did not do the job for me until Kaspersky.
Kaspersky has been the best AV I've ever used and I have never been disappointed.
Cool... thank for the replies.
I know people that have had good luck with Avast.
I'm not opposed to paying for a good protection program.
And I don't visit or randomly click on things.
But I am into crypto-currency trading,
so therein lies my concern.
I would be wary of Kaspersky.
Too many ties to Russian meddling...
I don't mean to hijack, but what do you Mac users use?
I just literally bought a new Macbook and it's still virgin / unmolested. I'll need Java though for Android Studio programming and always do everything on a 2nd 'Standard User' account.
Not a thing. Two Macbooks and two iMacs, not a Virus to be had. I've been using Macs for almost 10 years and I have never had a Virus.
I've also been using Windows computers for decades and have yet to get one virus there too. I have no idea what you guys click on to get viruses.
I scan my computers about every three months. Nada. Zippo, Zilch. Starting to think Anti-virus software is a money grab.
well, I'm no Saint, so....
I would normally say that Viruses are a myth but I've seen a lot of co-workers, friends, and enemies with shredded computers because of them. I just haven't been struck yet.
I just took it off my machine here. did not like it.
There are some polymorphic retroviruses that will change traits when new virus definitions come out. Those are the tricky ones.
Load of s*&# if you ask me.
I'd like to get into it, but WAY too political.
Separate names with a comma.
