I've got 2 strats, a Mockingbird, an old Ibanez Roadstar, an SG, a Tele, an old Silvertone bass ,(no I'm not ashamed thankyouverymuch) and s Simon and Patrick Dreadnought. I've got a Montagnana cello too, it thinks it's one of my guitars (don't tell it any different)

I know the one on the left is a Gibson Slash Les Paul vermillin. The one in the middle is a 2017 standard HP? and the one to the right of it is a standard from 2017

2 out of 5, not bad at all Justin! Correct on Slash, correct on Cherry burst which is one right of the middle but inside the rightmost guitar.

Number 2, 3, and 5 remain unnamed still... You did quite well though! Getting the Slash right without the headstock in view, pretty cool... For true Gibson historians though, that color is pretty much a giveaway I guess, I dont' think it's been used elsewhere. She sure plays great! I have played some of my best on that guitar.

In fairness, some of these are pretty hard to pick out of a lineup.

Me and the 2017 Std #4 are still getting acquainted. But 1, 3, and 5 are my true keepers.

Yeah the vermillion LP has that unique flame top and I haven't seen it on any other LP so I had to assume that was it. The one towards the right middle I could tell it was a 2017 because of it not having the chip around the toggle switch and it didn't look any different so I had to assume it was a standard.

As for the one right in the middle I would think it would be an HP because on those series of Gibson's they have Mother Of Pearl inlays instead of pearloid inlays, that was all I could base my thinking on. As for the others I couldn't give you an answer for my life.

I am more of a Jackson guitar fnatic, if you had posted a picture of that I could've named probably 90% of it

Have 8 now, no faves in terms of tone or playability (they're all winners). Have my own blood, sweat and tears in this homebuilt "explorer junior", so will call it my baby:

This was taken a couple years ago. Only the LP, HSS Strat and ESP M-II remain. The rack's long gone too, good riddance. Amps are still around with a recently added 2203 & 1960av.

It's very versatile, amazing cleans and edge of breakup tones. I sold all my Fender amps after getting it because the Mark V would do that glassy clean and the poweramp overdrive sound better at manageable volumes. That little Mark IV combo beside it absolutely smokes it in the high-gain dept though.

Justin, technically, you are sort of right on the middle one. However, this was the Badged Tiger Burst which I think is an HP, but a special edition. Came with Custom Shop case I think.... and it is #7 of 150 built. Really a sweet axe. I had a shot at number 1, and probably should have bought it as an investment, however, I loved the maple top and back combin of #7 much better, and it was a better location to come from. :)

I’m trying to limit it to one of each. Maybe two.

A couple years ago I had many more LesPauls, but I started converting guitars to plexis and I don’t regret it.

Really i keep a couple Historic LPs, a 59 Historic Es-335 and Es-175, a Beck Strat and a BPaisley Tele. A few more, some more valuable, but the lightly aged R9 is by far the best player.

    2. 500 bucks spent for both together :agreed::applause:

Told my wife she’s lucky I like cheap guitars. But if they play well and stay in tune that’s pro to me eh? I gig with them.

I have 6 electrics and a bass. My collection is purely functional and most definitely not for show:

'86 Yamaha SE350 - HSS strat with a locking trem and my first quality guitar (my actual first was an Encore catalog guitar). It's a top player and I'll never sell it.

Gibson LP Signature 2014 (also has min-eTune and coil taps) - very versatile.

Gibson LP Studio '50s Tribute Humbuckers

    Gibson SG Special Faded

Ibanez Prestige RG1570 HSH with 24 frets and a locking trem

Epiphone Wildkat with Bigsby and two P90s - Korean made with a lovely fret board and a nice chunky neck...

I'm in a newly formed function / covers band so I need to cover all the bases. I can pretty much grab any two of these and do that. All are used for rehearsals and will also be used when we start gigging (the LP Signature might be venue dependent though)

I also own a Peavey BXP4 bass for home use.
