In some countries there are these legends who everybody knows through their excentric lifestyle and music. For those in Holland one of those was Herman Brood and his Wild Romance.

Does any of you elsewhere in the world ever heard of him and his band?

Who could ignore, or even forget, Dany "Danny" Lademacher (aka Daniël Germain Jean Lademacher), the Belgian guitar player and member of Kleptomania and Herman's band, as well as a studio and live guitarist for a variety of artists, including T.U.S.H., Gerritsen & Van Dijk and I Travel.

I had to google him since I never heard of this artist. Nothing rings a bell. I YouTube”d him and none of his songs are familiar. When he was first coming up I was listening to AC/DC, Rainbow, Aerosmith.....things like that. I thought the three songs I listened to had pretty good hooks. I love you like I love myself reminded me a bit of Bob Seger meets Thin Lizzy. Talented guy. In the US he was up against disco, then punk and then the hair metal band thing. He might have had a niche but I’m sure it was not very big.

    Suicide....jumped off a building....terrible.

Soooooo Who was locally famous in your neighbourhood? I feel there are alot of artists who never make it internationally but are worthwhile!
