    My buddy Joshua Hernández at The Tone Consultant - HomeWrecker Pickups made me some nice pickups.
    Playing thru the Friedman Custom Shop 50 Watt head.

    They sound real good. I like the somewhat clean tones when volume dialed back. The gainer tones are shreadmalicious

    @Rezamatix : your friend seems to do very good work; I've never heard of him or these pickups he makes, but I think he's on to something good.

    Clearly, these pups shine with high gain amp/high gain tones. I like that we were able to hear them in two different guitars. I'd be curious to hear them in a Charvel super strat or Les Paul.

    Given that so many people and companies are making pickups, it's tough to stand out in the crowd. Hopefully someone with a little star power (and big money) will get behind these pickups and give them a little publicity. If more people use them, then maybe we'll get to hear them in other guitar and through other amps.

    thanks for watching. I think the Luxxtone qualifies as a "charvel style" super strat!

    He was Rayne's (captcoolaid) partner in MHD pickups. When they split is when Rayne renamed all of his pickups.
