    Hello All,

    I hope you are all well !!

    I have this early 70's Marshall Cabinet I have never seen anywhere else before - the speakers also appear unique to me

    Anyone know what model it is ??

    It's Marshall Big "M" cabinet. It was Marshall's attempt at having a low-priced products line (Circa 1975). It's stiil a good cabinet the model is #M2414!

    2857744 =
    285 = Rola (not Celestion)
    77 = 1977
    44 = week 44

    And I think that 29595 is the speaker model.

    My recone book shows that the Rola PN is actually the 12BT46-8 RM002571 number.

    I would agree with the breakdown of the 2857744 number, because they were making Big M cabs during that time frame.

    Note that "M 1960" is written on the back side of the baffle.

    I think you are right about the Rola numbers,
    but it looks like Fender and Marshall also had their numbers on the speakers.
    So if Eminence made speakers with the same specs for Marshall,
    they would also have the 29595 number on them.

    New York - The owner told me the cabinet was purchased in SAM ASH Brooklyn on Flatbush Ave in 1975 with a JMP 100watt head 4 input no master.

    Mine must be the prototype - LOL !!
