The best strategy (IMHO) is turn it up louder.

Happy Independence Day, all you MFers. Let us all be united in our love of country and the rich diversity in our music and each other.

Happy 4th guys. I miss launching trash cans with m-80s in the 60s and other stuff I shouldn't post. Kids have no idea what they are missing these days.

Chin up brother , I had to go it alone on Father’s Day while the lady went to see our daughter who got her first house.
Funny thing is I never got to play much.
We are doing squat . I am pulling #10 wire in the attic of the garage . It is hot dusty and I taking a bath in fiberglass ! Happy 4th

They're not missing anything here. Sounds like the Battle of Fallujah outside.
And the average fireworks stand nowdays sells commercial grade Pyrotechnics.
Those things are dangerous, people & businesses here get burnt to the ground every year.
I watched the Wash DC celebration on PBS, over 30 minutes of non-stop fireworks. There was so much secondary smoke you couldn't even see the fireworks themselves.
I could help but think what the founding fathers would think of the Millions of dollars wasted on such an event.
Also wondered what the founding fathers would think of the thousands of men, women & children in detention centers some standing room only for weeks trying to flee persecution & find a better life.
It doesn't sit well with me.
