    Hey MFers

I'm looking to buy a multi-guitar stand tthat will hold 5 or 6 instruments.

What are some of the better brands out there that you trust to be stable and not be wobbly or rickety??

    Thanks for any feedback

    Trell

Check out anything from OnStage. The best quality and customer service and you dont have to worry about the parts that touch the guitar coloring or bleeding into the guitar finish.

I use something similar, less robust but works fine for 3 or 4. No idea the brand.

I quit using guitar stands after a band rehearsal, whereupon I set my guitar in the stand and moved 5 ft. away to grab a bottled water out of a cube fridge, tripped over the cable and sent my Les Paul face-down onto the concrete floor. THWACK!!!

Busted the nut's all. I got lucky and learnt. No more guitar stands for me.

if you notice, there are several companies making the same design stands over and over.
I do like the onstage mentioned above.
just recently got two wall racks that should hold 15 to 20 guitars each.

    I feel ya...

I'm looking to get a rack for the studio, it'll be going up against the wall in a fairly safe place .It just gets old having to go to the closet and get a different axe everytime I'm changing instruments.

I found some REALLY nice ones made by Guardian but the ones I like cost about 230.00 so I may just go with the Hercules or OnStage....

    Thanks for the ideas fellas

I use the single stands. They even sent me new rubber straps for a of them when they broke. Nonhassles just sent them with free shipping. Plus these are solid stands.

Why dont you like OnSatge stands?

    You got lucky there!!!

And for that exact reason, I always unplug my guitars when sitting in a stand!!!!

We use one of these. It has straps at the top that snap to keep the guitars secure. When its not in use it folds up into what looks like a small suitcase.

Edit: not sure why it has a broken image on the bottom of this post. I only attached the one pic.

1 of our 5 racks is a Hercules, the other 2 I believe are proline or something, quite sturdy have had no issues! Cheers Mitch

Be sure to check the spacing, ours is for acoustics , the others we possess are for electrics! Cheers Mitch

And MD I think that the acoustic one will fit four guitars in it, when you flip the neck forks up:shrug: but I have not tried it yet  Mitch

Hmmm, the link above that BanditPanda posted shows several electrics in the stand, I don’t understand?

It has to do with the width of the stand, as you had posted to slim down the space! Cheers Mitch
