    Hello everyone!

Picking up this bad boy on Monday, just got this (hopefully) crazy deal on ebay. Brand new to the Marshall world and am very excited.

Prior amps include Roland Cube 30x and Blackstar ht40, great amps but was looking to upgrade.

Anything I should know about this model of amp/cab? As I said, I'm new to Marshall and the stack world.

    Thanks!

    Go Patriots!

:welcome::cheers: To the best forum ever, now when you’re new amp hits the floor boards of your home, you must crank it up so I can hear it, I am in California, so it needs to be kind of loud, also record it and post some clips, or it will turn into a crate 15 watt practice amp! Cheers new MF’r:dude:

$264 is one hell of a cheap way to get into Marshall tube tone. Congrats and welcome.

    :welcome:to the forum...

just make sure you use the 16 ohm out & the 16 ohm in on the cab.

also: make sure you use speaker wire & not instrument cable.

I always wrap some red electrical tape around the jack on speaker leads, ends all confusion as to whether it's a speaker or instrument cable.
