Gibson money grab #1432! At this point I’d rather just pay a few hundy to play a REAL 59 LP for 30 minutes. I’d seriously give a few hundred just to get a real 59 in my hands for a bit. If I owned one that’s exactly what I would do with it. Rent it out by the minute!!!

I would like to play that guitar through a Plexi stack, at an unbelievably obnoxious loudness level.

My 9 year old Gibson Les Paul R9.. The one in the middle. The one on the left is a Les Paul Axcess and the one on the right is a Les Paul Standard. They are all on my "Do Not Sell" List. 3 Amigos.jpg

Well I kind of look at it as:
Gibson had some years of problems...
But now with this new 59 reissue, Gibson seems to be headed back to getting on track again.
This is a guitar that a lot of players will actually be interested in trying. (and, it's not BLUE, it has no robot tuners!)
It's a turning point for Gibson I hope.

I am concerned with supporting USA manufacturing, and USA workers.
I want to see this turn around, headed back in the right direction.
If I buy a new guitar I want a Gibson. I want to be part of that USA come-back.

Well if you can afford it that certainly seems to be the one to get. The ultimate ( according to legend) Les Paul.

...................and, for under $400.00 at Sam Ash:

    OK.

I'd like to have an iconic vintage style guitar but it's a few thousand shekles.

    Supro????

    It's a roller coaster.

Do I want this big dollar cork sniffer axe?

Do I want an Asian made re-issue Supro thing?

Will I get laid more with the Gibson?

Or do I cut to the chase and get a second mortgage and get a Nik Huber?

Don't know how you would make out with ladies however you'd be pleasuring yourself more with the Gibson.
