After years of your really cool "pawn shop find" threads, in addition to all of the stuff you've brought back from the dead, it would be a pretty traumatic shock to the system if you started posting about new profiles you downloaded... :p

I use a JH-1 Jackhammer to "Marshallize" my Blues Jr. and Hot Rod Deluxe.
I have the amp set clean and kick on the JH-1 for overdrive.
The OD channel with the Gain set to about 9 o'clock is pretty sweet, IMO.
In front of my Hot Rod Deluxe I like to use a Bad Monkey to push the clean amp into breakup. Don't like the Drive channels on this amp and never did.

Yeah, there ya go. That's one of the amps I end up with sometimes. Last tour I did in Spain ,that's what I had . You're right ,the drive channel on this amp ,and most 2 channel configurations like that. I ended up using the clean channel and my friend's Pro Analog Manticore. It did very well ,although ,it may be a little gainey for me .

Bad Monkey's got a good TS flavor IMO

Thanks for tuning in. IIRC that was an Orange Tiny Terror combo with a greenback . I think a DOD 250 for a solo boost

I sing these things praises every chance i get, so damn good and tweakable i don't see how someone could not get a sound they like outta one. Maybe not what your lookin for as they're not made anymore so not readily available anywhere but i see them for sale used all the time. They really are killer man and do a pretty convincing Bassman, Marshall and AC30. Get you one and give it a try, you might be surprised. Screenshot_2020-03-25-16-35-07-1.png analog and it can run off a 9v battery.

    Stewart Ward's finest.
The Award-Session JD10 MKI is exactly the same as the Morley JD10 apart from the silk screen details on the case. Either is excellent... Personally, the later Mk.II models soound just a little better, but either will do the job very well. There's a JD20 which apparently if more usable but sounds just as good.

Reminds me of way back in the early to mid 90's using a Mesa V Twin preamp powered by either 2 12AX7's or a more useable method was using 2 12AT7's which worked better as the volume ,feedback, and gain were unmanageable .
