I recently acquired this amp in a multi-amp purchase. Honestly, I know I will not use it. It sounds great and does everything it's supposed to. Man is this thing retarded loud.

Here is what the previous owner said about the amp:
1967 or 1968 Marshall Super Tremolo. This amp is basically original. Trem doesn't work (typical). As I recall: Bias control added inside, ground switch outside, and possibly one or two other small things that I can’t remember... but it’s essentially original, with most original components, including the mustards. Not sure if panels are stock. But the key is the tone, and this amp is exactly what you’d expect it to be. Plugged into a hotplate, it will fill your mind with grind!

This is what I would like to add:
Looks like the amp is a 1968, built in Feb that year. The tremolo DOES in fact work. The footswitch connection on the back was converted into a finger switch to engage/disengage the tremolo. A pot was added inside to adjust the bias. Like I said, it's crazy loud. It's takes a fair amount of gain to boost it into any kind of breakup.

    Here are my pics:

I'd you're talking about the lay-down transformer... It's original. It's just missing the covers.

Are you interested in a '72 Gibson Les Paul Signature GoldTop in trade?? I was thinking about moving that along but haven't posted it yet. Rather rare bird with a short production run. If you've never seen one, It is basically a Les Paul version of a 335 with 3 impedance selections & Stereo outs. She's a beauty that most guitarist upon seeing her in person fall in love with.
