2203KK looking for 1500 after shipping, or make me an offer. I'm on TGP and RT as well with the same name

there are a few minor tears on the tolex. i sealed them after taking these photos so they're laying flat against the cabinet again.

Welcome to the forum Hana .
Has this amp ever been repaired or modified?
Is there any pictures of the insides of the chassis?
Do you know what tubes are installed in this amp?
    Thank you

thanks - as far as i know its all original. ill take some photos of the inside, i dont really have the time to pull the chassis and put it back in but i can make a quick video demo.

it has kt88 as originally specced, but i replaced them with tung sol 6550s. i could ship with 5881s or el34 which might require mods, but it’s factory designed for 88/6550

i updated the photos now. seems like i didn’t actually swap the tubes in this one, it was a different jcm800 that has the tung sols. there's a preamp tube cover on V1 which came loose while i was moving it around just now, I just put it back on

    Congrats on your sell.

It's getting harder to pawn off these 100 watt dinosaurs now that everyone is going digital.

didn't actually sell unfortunately, buyer backed out

agreed though, big amps with their cool factor are a lot more accessible for the people who like to have them - though this one's somewhat small by some standards...

It looks like it was barely used at all, original type tubes etc. Just was curious about the insides thanks anyway.

If I didn't already have one I'd jump all over this. The KK is a monster. Good luck with the sale.

I don't think everybody is going digital.
The accomplished guitar players don't really need modeling amps.
I think of professional or serious guitar players, maybe 5- 10% are using modeling amps at the most.
I think Most of the players out there will continue to use tube amps and modeling amps will remain a novelty.
The digital amps are a flash in the pan, the real tube amps were built to last almost forever.

Booooo!! Not true... They'll be a place for real guitar amps.. ALWAYS....Orchestral musicians favor period correct instruments for live performance and recording....Some of these instruments are over 300 years old.

    Congrats on the sale!

On the digital and modeling thing, I can't stand it. I like the feel of cranked tube amp behind me with a cabinet moving air on stage. Ain't nothing like it to me. Every time I've tried modeling or whatever it is... I've been more than disappointed. I'm glad it works for some people but as for me, no thanks. Without tube amps, there would be nothing to emulate.
