Don't worry about whether your favorite is a technical super star with the range of a 100 foot measuring tape. It's not about that. It's about the voice that sings to you personally. And- not to pry- if you want (hint, hint) you should tell us all why they're your favorite??? If you wants tah  today is bleak and sad... I require your sacrifice :squint::ugh:

But let's be nice and not hurt each other's feelings, okay? Let's remember that this is personal. You're entitled to your opinion, of course- but keep it civil!

    My favorite voice:

And I don't even like country :applause: but any and ALL Patsy Cline and I'm there!

    What the hay :monkey:

Rob Halford. The first time I heard Screaming for Vengeance it blew my mind. Been a huge fan since that day.

When it comes to vocals, I am such a sucker for the 70s stuff. I was born in 1967 and those songs I heard back then, even the cheesy stuff, still melt my heart. Karen Carpenter, Barbra Streisand, Perry, Delp, Barry Gib, Simon and Garfunkle, Chapin, Taylor, Croce, Elton John, Nicks....just so many. Maybe my memory is just too tied to my youth, but I don't think anyone from the mid 80s on has held a candle to that crop when it comes to pure vocal talent.
