If we still had likes, and I could give you my remaining likes for the year, I'd do it.

I can honestly say that I've never given it much thought... I suppose many of the songs I've written were intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge/solo, ending chorus... but most of the time I liked to throw something else in there that I can't really label... I call them "blurbs". Like red herrings, I guess. Also, sometimes I have no structure... "vas is das?"

    WHAT AM I!? lol

annoying to me is all this fluffy hipster wannabee post punk BS, like emo & screamo, etc...

especially the stuff that's pseudo psychoanalytical, where the guy is always sorry because all guys can do is wrong, or the all I hate about you is me type BS, or the cliche beautiful disaster BS... blech... meh!

    where's the puke smiley?

My god, you took the words right out of my mouth! I have the hardest time trying to find people to play with, because it's ALL that! Or it's death metal, country or gospel  which is a standard D, A, G, D, A, G,... *puke icon needed*... (disturbing how that works with all three of those genres)...

The annoying part with me, is that I actually write everything. So when other musicians think its going to be a simple, cut n dry, standard formula with chords and patterns to follow, they're always so surprised when I'm playing something they weren't prepared for... because they didn't actually look at the music that I gave to them... that's kind of why I haven't led a band in a while. It's discouraging to be discouraged... yeah. That.
