Well, it's been a fun up and down first half of the season! With 7 games in the books and 7 left to go, here are the midpoint standings (official as of last edit.)

    1. The Bombers 5-2
    2. Gunner64 5-2
    3. Run and Shoot 5-2
    4. Lakers 3-4
    5. Ransom's Ballers 3-4
    6. Manger-less Team 3-4
    7. BAD LATITUDE 2-5
    8. Gators 2-5

Positioning for tied teams is based on Season ToT points. Good news for B/L and Gators is they are only 1 game behind to get into the mix for playoff contention to make it a 5 way race!

The top 25 players in points are dominated by the QB position, with Jackson QB BAL leading with 180.6.

The only other position to get into the top 10 is RB, with McCaffrey CAR at #4 and Cook MIN at #6. McCaffrey could have easily slid into #1 had he not been on a bye week. Ekeler LAC #12, Jones GB #16, Elliot DAL #17, and Chubb CLE #24 fill out the top 25 for RB's.

The first WR to make an appearance is Thomas NO at #15. He is joined by Godwin TB at #18.

The shocker of the Top 25 is the Patriots defense, showing up at #7 with 152 points.

Well, I've managed to climb into a playoff spot, but I don't know if I'll be able to hold it. Week 8 is going to be brutal for me, as I have a number of guys on a bye week, so I anticipate slipping from the playoff spot as quickly as I grabbed one. This has really been a first half season of highs and lows for me, and I wish I was feeling more confident on what to anticipate for the second half. My biggest disappointment of the season so far has to be Melvin Gordon. I thought that was a lucky break draft choice, and it's been just awful.

My team got off to a good start, but the past couple weeks it's slowly came back down to earth. I may sneak into the playoffs, but I don't see myself advancing very far.

I did better than expected in week 8, but still wound up getting smoked. I'm shocked that I still have the number 4 slot ... speaking of which, it's looking like it's going to be one hell of a race to the end here, as that last playoff spot is available to pretty much everyone behind me right now. Hell, the only reason I even have it is because I've managed to put up some points in defeat. I'm not feeling confident, but it's exciting to watch unfold!

I had an eery feeling about this weekend, so I wasn't surprised I lost. The missed field goal by Vinatieri pretty much sums it up (Go Steelers!!!)

Being a Bills fan, I loved seeing the Pats go down.

Ole Russ Wilson sure blew up..and took Tyler Lockett with him..I thought for sure you'd smash me Stewie, as many points as you've been putting up.

Wow, I managed to squeeze out a win. @CoyotesGator I thought you were going to come back to take it.

I went to set my lineup for next week and what did I see? Two running backs on a bye week, and my remaining two are questionable. Ouch.

    And were off!

    A must win for Gator.

I only need to win out to forget my awful record and return to mediocrity!

    :run:

Ok, so I had this whole post typed out about midgets fingering the butt hole of a certain NFL QB and his GF, but I'm not going to post it ... let's just say I'm not pleased with a certain performance this week. Not even saying it's my team. Speaking of my team, Gunner needs 33.43 points to beat me, and I'm quite sure he'll get it and then some. I'm not happy about ... things.

My team was doomed this week from the get go. As I said above, 2 of my RB had bye weeks, and the other 2 were up in the air health wise. I grabbed 2 others off the waiver wire, and both of them got about half the pts that they were predicted to get.

Then I started my backup tight end in the flex spot because I liked his matchup. He played on Thursday. On Friday I get the notification that my starting TE is doubtful. So I have to scramble for another TE. Both of the tight ends I started came in under their predictions. Then Aaron Rogers gave me half the points he was predicted.

The only thing keeping this from being a total ass whooping is that Pittsburgh got me three times their predicted total and my opponent didn't field a kicker.

Idk, My Seattle guys have been throwing up the points, but this week they play the 49ers in san fran, so I'm not so sure they'll keep up their pace..9ers could shut them down.
