I left off Homer Simpson.
Oh thats criminal to leave him off poor bloke lol Three cheers for Homer hip hip.
I was joking, I joke around a lot.
Nobody is more off topic than I am.
Don't take it personally.
"The Impression given was that there were 6 prototypes, in fact there was only one, which was amp 0001."
That clarifies the the definitive detail. It's so great to talk to Ken in the forum, a privilege.
"Barbara Craven still has all Dudley`s working notes and has promised to publish them at at some point..."
That is something that I would really love to read.
Yes well lets not forget how most info that has been published is very distorted.
We did not have the money to have many prototypes, only one, once Dudley had the first one right we sold it and then all others that followed were made the same way.
Why would the factory have 0001 in there museum, once they started to sell then maybe one was held back for history, but initially no one knew if they would take off in the way that they did.
The initial idea for us three guys was just to make some extra cash and we never thought it would take off in the way it has done.
I never did get paid for my efforts but thats not sour grapes just fact.
I knew that was the case, i also joke around a bit, nothing wrong with that mate, keep it up.
