Early 70ies cab

    I,ve been offered to buy a cab from the early 70ies without speakers for 350 euros.
    What do you guys think.
    Big no or yes.

    Forgot to write it seems like it has white piping on top wich can,t be right.Can it?

    I think the cab is from 75-76 and the baffle is from 69-70.

    So no good? it feels like its too expensive without speakerS

    Yeah I was gonna say '76..that white string/elephant thing I've only seen with later '76 speakers originally.

    I'm going to say no. Changed baffle board (or at least the cloth), white piping, plastic corners and handles, back panel upside down...too many oddities for me unless it was really cheap.

    1976, no doubt. First year elephant tolex, white instead of gold trim string, and correct type aluminum serial tag.
    The grill cloth was changed, and a small logo added.
    Way over priced IMHO.

    If I could find a cab like that in Australia I'd jump on it. They're like hens teeth here.

    This. The white piping was only used for a short period circa 76, so that makes it easy to date. Grill cloth and whats left of the logo are not original.

    Too expensive, wait for one in original condition that doesn't need any work or more expense getting back to original spec.
